Orders

An order is formed from one or several programs of different authors. When registering the program the author sets the data that the customer will need to indicate when purchasing the goods (name, e-mail address etc). The author has access only to the information about his/her own program and can't see other authors' programs.

Editing information about the program the author defines who will be responsible for shipping the program (site or author). After the customer places the order the information about it is sent, accordingly, to the administration of the site or to the author.

The customer, placing an order, has to give the information, asked by the author. This data may be different for programs of different authors. If the information asked by different authors is the same (name, e-mail etc) you need to fill in these fields only once. They will be automatically related to all programs of different authors.

The order has different statuses: paid or not, delivery is permitted or not, delivered or not. When the order is placed it is considered new and is not paid; delivery is not permitted.

The author can permit or forbid the delivery of goods, create an order or confirm payment in the section «Mail». To do this you should create a new message, selecting the corresponding event.

After the author indicates the message language, topic and type of record (text or html), the author should create a letter template, using the field codes given below. The author can select all the codes or the ones he/she thinks best.

After the customer pays all the programs the order gets the status «paid». If the goods has already been sent but is not received by the customer yet, the order has a status «dispatched». The author can deliver the goods him/herself or use the services of shipping companies. When all the programs are delivered the order gets the status «delivered».

For more comfortable viewing of orders the author can sort them by date, order code and status (new, dispatched, delivered, paid or not, delivery is permitted or not) and also by the customer's name. If the program has been purchased in the bundle there will be a symbol [B] shown near the program's name.

When viewing the orders the author has access to the following information: order code, date of placing, program name, if the program was purchased in a bundle, name, company and e-mail address of the customer, sum and status of the order. The author can find out if the order is paid or if the delivery is made.

The author can view information about the order with the help of the button «process». During viewing the author will see all the necessary data about the order, delivery and customer. The author can find out about the discounts, get information about commissions.

Link to order form and program details

In the personal section the author can not only view but also create links to the order form and program details. These links can be placed on the other sites to give an opportunity to purchase your program on the site «Softkey» to as many customers as possible. To see the link it is necessary to select the program from the list in a special field. After that all the links to the program will be shown on the page.

There are three types of links:

Link to purchase is a link, which will lead the customer to the «Basket», where he will be able to start placing his/her order. The link to purchase is a group one. It means that when clicking the link the customer will be able to add to the basket several programs at a time. To do this you have to select the needed programs in the corresponding field. In the description of the link to purchase you will see the list of all selected programs and one link. Additionally you can set how many copies of each program the customer will buy by this link.

Link to adding to the basket is the link, with which the customer will add the program to the basket and return to the page where the link is placed. Links for adding to the basket are formed individually. That is, if you select several programs from the list, for each of them there will be a separate link created. When using this type of link, there's no possibility to define the number of purchased copies (the link is given only for one copy of the program).

Link to the program details in the catalog is the link, which will lead the customer to the program details. If the link leads to the option or version, the customer will see the part of the page, which contains the description of the option or version. The link is formed separately for each program.

You can manage links, define what number of programs and copies the customer will purchase, indicate additional parameters:

Referer 1 and Referer 2 - this links' parameters are necessary for the statistics and help to learn, the link on which site the customer used. In the fields «Refer 1» и «Refer 2» you can leave official comments, defining the site, the link will be placed on. It can be any text, clear to you. When changing these fields the link is renewed automatically. In the «Statistics» section you can use a filter and with the help of the field «Links (referer1/referer2)» select only those orders which have been made by the link from this site.

You have an opportunity to place a usual link or use banners and buttons of the site «Softkey». The images can be found in the section «link to the site». You can choose a banner that corresponds with the design of your site. If the order is formed with setting appearance, then in the basket on the products there will be put links to the customized description of the products.

Coupon for discount - if the affiliate has a coupon for discount, which he/she offers to customers, he/she can add the code of the coupon into the link. In this case those customers who have this coupon, will get a fixed discount when purchasing the program. The coupon for discount may be used many times or only ones. In the latter case it will be counted when and for which order the coupon was given out.

Appearance - the author can edit the appearance of the order form, program or company details. When using the link, the customer will see the page, as it will be defined in the link. You can select type of appearance or create your own appearance that will correspond with the design of your site.

Order form

The author can edit the appearance of the order form. To do this he/she should add new appearance, where he/she should fill in the fields «Header» and «Footer».

tabletitletext - style of the subtitles (e.g.: «Step 1.Authorization and type of payer»);

hline - style of the decorative background line (after the titles «Placing an order» etc.);

tablefieldtext - field's name;

errormessage - error message;

okmessage - message is ok;

orderbutton - buttons «back/forward».

The design of the order form can be applied to the program details.

Statistics

Viewing information about the orders is available to the author in the section «Statistics». The author can find out about the number of orders and volume of sales. For more comfortable viewing the information about the orders author has an opportunity to sort them, i.e. select information only about the author's sales, turnovers on dealer's agreements, on affiliate agreements. You can get information only about the programs, versions or options, or limit the showing by the company orders.

The author of the programs can get detailed data about the orders, made through affiliates. In the «Orders» section (menu point «Affiliates») the author can find out, through which affiliates the orders were made, which orders are paid, the total cost of the order, commission that must be paid to the affiliate.

Viewing the information about the order you can find out the detailed data about the customer, date of placing the order, delivery terms. You can also get information from which affiliate page the customer came, to what page of «Softkey» he/she came. Besides, the author can get information about the size of discount, look through the agreement, by which this discount is given.

A detailed report about the order will let the author know which sum is to be paid to the affiliate, look through the agreement that defines the size of this commission.

In the personal sections «Referencings» you can get a detailed report about the page the customer came from, the page the customer came to, the referencing date and also data about the added/ created/paid orders. The report is made according to the table of referencings from the outer sites when referer 1/2= are set in the link. You can define the parameters of «referer» in the Section «Link to order».

Author can group information about the orders by the status of payment and by currency and also by date. The author can get data about the orders in Excel format.
